Minimizing freight damages to reduce claims remains one of our industries largest challenges. Most of the damage occurs in line haul or during city P&D. To alleviate these problems traditional load locks, straps, and dunnage have been used.
- Load locks are cumbersome and have limited uses. They repeatedly “pop” loose, are easily lost, damaged, or left behind.
- Freight still falls over or under ratchet straps. Also, if over tightened, the strap itself causes damage.
- Dunnage is heavy, awkward, and expensive.
